After assessing second graders on their reading skills, Sasha Wilborn, a second grader at Patterson Elementary, has earned her chance to compete in the 2012 Texas Reading Bee Championship Competition. It will be held on Saturday, November 17 at the TCU?s Meyer-Martin Athletic Complex. The reading bee competition will not only assess reading fluency, but also comprehension, expression, and accuracy. Sasha has been preparing for the reading bee by choosing reading passages from many genres, to be ready to compete in November. Good luck, Sasha!
