Six KHS Choir Members headed to State

On Saturday, the KHS choir program had 5 students make all-state soloists. ?This the highest number for the KHS choir program to qualify for all-state. The students are Kailee Mitchell, Quyen Nguyen, Cayce Allen, Jeannette Acosta, and Amy Tate.

Also qualifying for state were the ladies ensemble of Kailee Mitchell, Quyen Nguyen, and Victoria Buendia. ?{{more}}

They will be performing in Austin at the state solo/ensemble competition on Memorial Day weekend, 2013.

Earning a 1, “Superior rating” for their solos:

Alyssa Brannon, Victoria Buendia, and Marco Henderson.

Earning a 2, “Excellent rating” for their solos: Audrianna Skiles, Alexis Villanueva, Sarah Oyegunle, Amie Brown, Kathryn Mosely, and Katelynn Goss.
