Mr. Danny Wilcox, Kennedale Archery team sponsor and coach, was pleased about this year. Posting on the KHS Outdoor Education Facebook page Wilcox said ?This whole year has been a record breaking year. School, individual, and bullseye records have been falling left and right all year. School records have been broken at least 9 times this year. This year group of archers will be known as the group that took us to the next level!?
?
What is the next level??Wilcox said in the post that there are 4 who have shot above 280 this year and could compete at the NASP Nationals but to go they would have to be a team of at least 12.? Kennedale is not there yet. However, because of Graci Hall’s individual score she has received a bid to the Nationals. Wilcox has said that is doable, there is money for sending an individual. But, he cautions that if? Kennedale’s program continues to advance, planning for and sending a team of at least 12 members will need a lot of support. He is hopeful that a there will be enough parents and suppporter who will willing to commit to the start of a booster club for the outdoor education program at Kennedale High School.
