Today, Saturday, April 11, 2020 Tarrant County reported 787 COVID-19 cases. This is up by 150 cases since Thursday when 637 infections were recorded. Texas has reported 12,561 cases statewide up from 10,230 cases since Thursday.? Kennedale has no cases reported.? {{more: continue …}}?

Tarrant County reported five more deaths for a total of 25 (up from 20 on Thursday) with 90 recoveries (up from 61 Thursday).? There are 133 currently hospitalized.

The City of Kennedale is one of the largest communities in Tarrant County without confirmed cases of coruvisrus. Those cities without a recorded case are Blue Mound, Dalworthington Gardens, Kennedale, Newark, Reno, Roanoke, Trophy Club and Westover Village.?

Border cities of Fort Worth and and Arlington continue to rise in reported cases while Everman remains at one.

There are 51 cases that are of unknown location but within Tarrant County (up from 37 Thursday) and in the unincorporated areas of the Tarrant, which in part borders Kennedale, the number of cases has risen to 20 cases reported (up from 13 Thursday).

As more deaths are recorded, a clearer picture is emerging of who has a greater chance of dying? from the coronavirus.? More males are dying than females, 68% to 34% and all those over age 65 account for 52% of all deaths.? It has to be noted that there are still deaths occurring in 24-44 age group and that over a third of all deaths are in the 45-64 age group.?
