Village Creek Project Field Work Starting Soon

The North Central Texas Council of Governments is currently updating an existing creek study for 13 streams in the area. The City of Kennedale is asking for property owners along Village Creek for their cooperation by granting project contractors property access as needed for this study. This would include tributaries.

 

This is an ongoing NCTCOG effort in a joint contract with the City of Kennedale, City of Arlington,

Tarrant County, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). {{more}}
NCTCOG has contracted Halff Associates, Inc. (Halff), to perform this work as part of the
Cooperating Technical Partners (CTP) project. Halff Associates is prepared to begin

collecting data through field work and site visits.

 

This surveying field work will be “nonintrusive” and will not damage any private
property. It is estimated that the field work be completed by June 2014 if cooperation given.
