The following incident reports were recorded by the Kennedale

11/02 – Assault Bodily Injury (Family Violence) – W. 3rd Street: At 7:37 p.m. an officer met with a victim at the police department. The victim, a 32 year old female, stated that her 35 year old ex-boyfriend had assaulted her during an argument. The assault occurred when the victim’s hand was caught in a door that the suspect intentionally closed. The suspect, who was interviewed at another location by a second officer, stated that the door was closed by accident and he did not intend to cause injury or harm. The victim, who no longer lives at the location, was sent to seek treatment for the injury.

11/03 – Burglary – Peachtree Court: At 1:12 p.m. an officer responded to a report of a burglary. The victim reported that while she was at work unknown person(s) entered her residence and removed a video game system and four games. The victim was able to list a suspect for the officer.

11/03 – Theft $1,500 to $20,000 – Bachelor Road: At 4:56 p.m. a victim reported the theft of a metal vehicle ramp from his business. The ramp was 7 feet long by 5 feet tall, and was valued at $1,800.00. The theft was caught on video and a DVD copy was given to the officer for evidence.

11/04 – Theft $500 to $1,500 – Pine Meadows: At 1:18 p.m. a victim reported the theft of a laptop computer from her residence. The victim believes that the item, valued at $600.00, was taken by a former house guest.

11/05 – Homicide – Little School Road: At 7:06 a.m. officers were dispatched to a report of a suspicious person. On arrival the officers observed a deceased male lying in a parking lot. The male had a head wound and appeared to have been there for several hours. After working on the investigation throughout the day, it was determined that the male was a homicide victim and a suspect was identified. The suspect was arrested in the early morning hours of 11/06/2014.

11/07 – Theft $1,500 to $20,000 – E. Kennedale Parkway: At 10:47 a.m. a victim reported the theft of a number of tools and copper wiring from a business.
