The Marching Wildcat Band got up early Saturday morning after preforming the night before at the KHS football game, travelling to the Springtown Band Festival and put on a performance that earned them top honors in several areas. {{more:Read more …}}
The Marching Cats were the Best in Class 4A; had the Best Drum Majors in Class; the Drumline had the highest score in 4A; was the second best band at the preliminaries; and, finished 4th in finals in competition which included bands in Class 6A, 5A, 4A, and 3A.
Director of Bands, Erol Oktay called it, ?an outstanding way to start off our 2016 competition season.?

The KHS Band will perform at the Princeton Festival next Saturday and then will compete at the Region UIL Marching Contest on October 22, 2016 in Springtown.
