The dream homecoming game happened for the Wildcats (5-2, 2-0) Friday night against Fort Worth Diamond Hill-Jarvis Eagles. The first quarter it was 27-0. By halftime it was 55-0. The bench was emptied but it was another 28 unanswered points in the second half. Nine different Wildcats scored touchdowns. Donny Darville scored three times and LJ Powell scored twice. Kennedale had 464 yards on the ground for a 19.33 average per carry. Juwan Washington who now has 1370 yards this season, had only 6 carries but gained 165 yards (27.5 average per carry). Defensively DeShawn Drummond contributed a touchdown after scooping up a fumble and rumbling 6 yards for 6 points. {{more}}

It has been a rough season for the Eagles who are 0-7 and 0-2 in district play. The Eagles had -15 yards in total offense for the evening. For Kennedale it has been the opposite with the Wildcats scoring 131 points in the last two games alone.

Next up in district, Kennedale will play the Castleberry Lions (2-5, 0-2) on their home field, W.O. Barnes Stadium, 215 Churchill Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76114, next Friday night at 7:30 pm.
