The KHS CTE Robotics program is in its third year. This year, KHS CTE Robotics 1 and 2 courses feature over 25 students enrolled. KHS also students a chance to participate in Robotics with the Robotics Club, which meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the KHS Multipurpose Room (MPR).
The KHS Robotics Team will compete in both the UIL BEST and FIRST Robotics competitions this year. Some members of the KHS Robotics team attend the FIRST Robotics Kick-Off in Aledo, where team members were given this year’s challenge and a preview of the course.
KHS will host its first Robotics home contest ever on Saturday, October 8, 2022, in the KHS Gymnasium.
The KHS Robotic Team is led by Coach Charles Arnspiger, KHS Math Teacher. Andrew Hoskins, KHS CTE Computer Science Teacher, and Robert Franklin, KHS Math Teacher, assist.
