As of this time, on the morning of the last day to file for a place on the Spring 2023 local elections for Kennedale ISD Board of Trustees and the City of Kennedale City Council, there are no new candidates.
Each of the five incumbents for places up for election this cycle has completed and returned applications to place their names on the ballot.
Saturday, May 6, 2023, is election day with early voting to begin on April 24, 2023. If you are not a registered voter, the deadline to register for this election is Thursday, April 6, 2023.

Kennedale City Council – Rockie Gilley (Place 1); Kenneth Michels (Place 3), and James Connor (Place 5).
KISD Board of Trustees – Darryl Owens (Place 6), and Felicia Moody (Place 7).
The deadline is 5 pm today at the respective administrative offices of the KISD and of the City.
