A Christmas Message
Dear Friends, I would like to invite you all to a very special time at our church.
Here at the First United Methodist Church of Kennedale we realize that life can be scary sometime. Though we are faced with challenges, there is One who is our reliable guide through scary times.
We also know this can be one of the loneliest times of the year. We may experience lies, abuse, abandonment, and disappointment. St Augustine says that “we have a God-shaped place inside that only Jesus can fill. The love of Jesus is the only love that cannot fail in life, in death and into eternity. Come and discover Jesus the only One that can lead you to a life of genuine and meaningful purpose.
For those who believe in Jesus will live in eternal light, purpose, joy and companionship with loved ones. Any place outside of this is a darkness of regret, isolation and pain.
On Friday, December 24th, at 6:00 p.m. we invite you to our Christmas Candlelight Service. Come and enter into praise and worship as we celebrate the birth of the Baby Jesus, who is living proof that someday anyone and everyone, no matter what their past, if they accept the Savior, could walk with God, in peace, love and full of joy forever.
