Hello Kennedale ISD Family,
I am Esteban Cerda IV, but everyone knows me as Steve. I am running for Kennedale ISD School Board Place 5. My wife Lori and I have lived in Kennedale School District since 2003. We have 2 children, Megan and Steve, who have attended KISD schools since elementary and are both currently attending Kennedale high school.
I am a 6-year veteran of the Texas Army National Guard. I have a Bachelor’s in History from The University at Arlington and a Master’s in Higher Education from Abilene Christian University. I have 20 plus years of working in education at the University and College levels. I currently work as a Coordinator at Tarrant County College where I strive to promote and advocate post-secondary education. I believe all students regardless of background or socioeconomic status have a fundamental right to education.
