I’ve finally out done Mrs. Smith down the road.  I’ve been competing with her for years and she isn’t even aware of the battle we have going.  Her landscape always looks beautiful but I’ve remained determined.  This year I succeeded.  I finally did it.  Yes, my weeds are bigger than hers.   I know what I did wrong.  Last year I didn’t put down enough mulch in the flower beds and I didn’t fertilize the turf as I should have.  It’s a case of “do what I say, not what I do.”  My one redeeming quality is that I’m still totally organic.  So there!!
