Incident Reports for week of November 15-21, 2020
11/16 — Aggravated Robbery with Firearm W. Kennedale Parkway … At 6:29 p.m. officers responded to a robbery. A male victim reported that he was robbed of a video game deck at gunpoint. The victim was attempting to sell the deck on a phone app and met the potential buyer on a business parking lot. The buyer displayed a firearm and took the deck without paying. The suspect left on foot and ran around the building to a waiting vehicle. During the escape, the suspect dropped his cell phone, which was seized as evidence.
11/16 — Application for Mental Detention and Observation North Road … At 7:27 p.m. officers responded to a drug overdose. A juvenile female had taken an intentional overdose of prescription medication. The female was conscious and breathing. She was transported to JPS Hospital for medical treatment and an emergency mental detention and evaluation.
11/18 — Violation of Bond/Protection Order N. Dick Price Road … At 3:45 p.m. officers responded to a report of a suspect being back at a residence that he was barred from by a protective order. The suspect was located and placed under arrest for violating the order.
11/19 – Hit and Run Accident W. Kennedale Parkway … At 7:10 p.m. a victim reported that his towed compressor trailer was damaged in a hit and run accident.
11/20 — Assault by Contact (Family Violence) Kennedale Parkway … At 7:08 p.m. an officer responded to a report of family violence. A female victim reported that she had been assaulted by a male suspect (the victim’s boyfriend) during an argument earlier in the day. The suspect was not present at the time of the report.
11/21 — Abandoned/Found Property Corry A. Edwards Drive … At 3:50 p.m. an officer received a wallet that was found on the side of the road. The owner could not be contacted and the item was placed in property and evidence for safe-keeping.
11/21 – Hit and Run Accident W. Sublett Road … At 5:15 p.m. an officer received a report of a hit and run accident. A white pickup truck had struck a fence and driven onto private property. The truck left the scene before officers arrived. The truck was later located at an address in Kennedale. Officers obtained the vehicle and driver information.
11/21 — Hit and Run Accident Sunrise Drive … At 9:13 p.m. an officer received a report of a hit and run accident. A victim reported that her Honda Pilot was struck by a blue Ford truck but the driver failed to stop.
