Significant Calls of the Week:

Danny Drive – Officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance. An offense report was completed.

Corry A. Edwards Drive – An officer initiated a traffic stop and upon contact with the driver the officer detected the strong odor of narcotics. Drug paraphernalia was also observed in plain sight. A search of the vehicle resulted in finding a large number of narcotics and a weapon. The suspect was transported to jail without incident.

E. Kennedale Parkway – Officers were dispatched to an animal bite call. The complainant advised they were traveling on foot when two canines approached. The complainant sustained a bite on the leg and refused medical attention. Animal Control was notified.

S. Eden Road – Officers responded to a general disturbance. On arrival, the complainant advised that the subject left the scene on foot. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

S Dick Price Road – Officers took a report of a minor motor vehicle accident. There were no injuries reported.

North Road – Officers responded to a burglary report. The complainant advised that electric appliances were missing. Officers completed a burglary report.

S. New Hope Road – Officers were dispatched to a minor motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles. No injuries.

N. Little School Road – Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident. No injuries were reported.

S. New Hope Road – Officers met with a complainant regarding an assault report. Officers filed an offense for Assault- Bodily Injury.

Wildcat Way – An officer was notified of possible contraband in a vehicle. The driver was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

W. Kennedale Parkway – Officers were requested to issue a criminal trespass warning for a subject refusing to leave the location. A warning was given without incident.

S. Dick Price Road – Officers were dispatched to a major accident. Officers assisted medics as needed with traffic control.

E. Interstate 20 – After an officer initiated a traffic stop, the officer observed a firearm and drug paraphernalia behind the driver’s seat. After a search of the vehicle, the driver was arrested for Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon and Possession of a Dangerous Drug. The passenger was also arrested for outstanding warrants. Both subjects were transported to jail without incident.

S. Dick Price Road at Averett Road – Officers responded to a minor motor vehicle accident. No injuries were reported.

W. Kennedale Parkway – Officers were dispatched to a burglary of a motor vehicle report. The complainant advised that a purse was taken from the vehicle while they were inside the business. Offense report completed.

S. New Hope Road – Officers responded to reports of burglary of motor vehicle offenses. The complainants advised that purses were taken from their vehicles while on the trails. Charges were filed.

E. Eden Road – Officers were dispatched to a theft report. The complainant advised that their dog was stolen. A neighbor witnessed the offense. Charges were filed.
