National Merit Scholar Commendations have been given to three KHS students ? Theresa Dinh, Blake Stroncek and Colton Watson. The students had scores in the top 34,000 scores out of the 1.5 million students taking the National Merit Exam or in the top 3%.
The KISD Board of Trustees issued proclamations recognizing their achievement at the regular board session on October 18, 2012. The proclamations were presented by KHS Principal Rita Whatley and Superintendent Gary Dugger.
