Kennedale had trouble getting anyone across the plate early on in the game. ?In the second the Wildcats had the bases loaded with one out but hit into a double play to end the threat. ?In the fourth the Cats scored one run after Zac Michener hit a single, stole second and then made it to third. He scored on a scarifice by Jay Thomas.?

Everything was working at the plate for Kennedale in the fifth. The Wildcats’ bats caught fire leading to five runs. ?However the Cats were working from behind with two outs when?Jake Michener hit a triple scoring Chayce Coltharp who had a single to get on base. ?J. Michener then scored on a pass ball. And the hits continued with a Hayden Millis single followed by a single from by Jake Michener scoring Millis. ?Josh Taylor added another single allowing J Michener to score. Jay Thomas hit?a double which scored courtesy runner Taylor Smith. ?The inning ended with a ground out by Brett Taylor.?

The sixth inning saw one more run after singles by Coltharp and Austin Eggleston.?
