It was a quiet Easter Sunday and the Surplus Warehouse manager, Chris King, was hoping to close early when the unexpected happened, a man walked in wearing a ski mask and robbed his business.

Police Chief Tommy Williams filed the following report on the KPD News Feed this week.

“Aggravated Robbery (Deadly Weapon) – {{more}}100 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 3:13 p.m. officers responded to a report of an aggravated robbery at a business. The employees stated that an unknown male entered the store wearing a ski mask and gloves and took all three employees to the break room. The employees were zip tied together and and the suspect left with the money from the store register. The suspect was described as 5’4″, 250 lbs., wearing a black hoodie and sweat pants, and spoke with a Hispanic accent. The weapon used was an automatic handgun.”

On Wednesday of this week, Chief Williams said that the department was still seeking leads and asked that if anyone who was in the area and saw something unusal for them please notify the police.?
