Environmental Quality. The Texas Rail Road Commission, with a long history in working with the oil and?gas industry, is once again responsible for coordinating the program and approving the grant awards.?The program, which has been in place since 2005, is expected to continue to produce significant air quality?benefits. To date it has helped Texas businesses as well as school districts reduce smog-forming
nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions by nearly 5,000 tons.??As a state certified dealer, we can assist local businesses with following the rules and regulations of
the grant application process. In fact we have staff specialists dedicated just to this program,? stated Jim?Shoppa, President, Shoppa?s Material Handling.?He continued, ?This is an excellent opportunity to take advantage of the new green technology available?on the market.
