The Kennedale City Council will meet in regular session on Thursday, July 11. The Work Session will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the regular session will start at 7 p.m. All meetings are held in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 405 Municipal Drive in Kennedale. All meetings open to the public.?Items of interest are the reorganization of the board approval process for all boards and commissions for the city of Kennedale; the re-authorization of the Keep Kennedale Beautiful Commission, the City Parks and Recreation Board and the Library Board; discussion of possible agreement with Mansfield for dispatch and jail services; and, the annual evaluation of the city manager?s performance. {{more}}?The following are the items on the agenda and the order they will be considered.?WORK SESSION – 5 p.m.

- Consider approval of Resolution 404, establishing a board and commission appointment process.
- Discuss and consider approval of an Ordinance establishing the Parks and Recreation Board and repealing all previous establishing ordinances for that board.
- Discuss and consider approval of an Ordinance establishing the Library Board and repealing all previous establishing ordinances for that board.
- Discuss and consider approval of an Ordinance establishing the Keep Kennedale Beautiful Commission and repealing all previous establishing ordinances for that commission.
- Discuss and take action regarding an ordinance amending the Code of Ordinances of the City of Kennedale by adopting Chapter 11, “Taxation,” Article XII, “Hotel/Motel Occupancy Tax” levying a tax on the occupancy of hotel rooms.
