Last week the 2013 KYA Minor Football Team claimed the Conference Championship over the Crowley Black Hawks, 8-6. The Kennedale Majors also played in the Championship series but lost out to the Crowley Majors. {{more}}
The Kennedale Minors? victory on Saturday made them Super Bowl bound. They will be playing the Burleson Minors on Saturday. The game is scheduled 6 p.m. and will be played at the Joshua High School football stadium, 909 South Broadway, Joshua, Texas.
The Kennedale Youth Association plays in the Brazos Valley Football Association. The BVFA represents teams from Joshua, Midlothian, Burleson, Hillsboro, Whitney, Alvarado, Cleburne and Kennedale. There are three conferences in the association. The Bantam division is for 1st and 2nd graders. The Minor division is for 3rd and 4th graders and the Major division for 5th and 6th graders. Dennis Ryals serves on the Board of Directors and as the Kennedale representative.
The Kennedale boys will leave Delaney Elementary in Kennedale at 4 p.m. ?in style? via a charter bus on Saturday and they are hoping that fans will come out and send them off with a big turnout.
