Steve and Sherry Jurgensmeier of Hiawatha,KS are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their son, Michael James Jurgensmeier, to Kandace Nicole Blan, daughter of Mitch and Karla Blan of Kennedale, Texas. {{more}}
Michael is a 2006 graduate of Hiawatha High School. He attended Kansas State University where he received his bachelors degree in mechanical engineering. He is currently working as an engineer for Halliburton in Duncan, Okla. Michael is continuing his education and will receive his master of business administration degree in May 2015.
Kandace is a 2006 graduate of Kennedale High School in Kennedale, Texas. She attended the University of Oklahoma where she received her bachelor of science in nursing. She is currently working as a registered nurse for Baylor Medical Center in Waxahachie, Texas in the Intensive Care Unit.
