The Kennedale Senior Center is hosting a meet and greet Monday afternoon, August 24, at the Kennedale Burger Box from 2-4 pm. (201 E Kennedale Pkwy, Kennedale).
This is an informal event that gives the Center a chance to show off its new Director, Shanti Lechner, and brag about its programs for seniors at the Center which is located a 420 Corry A Edwards Drive, Kennedale, TX 76060. {{more}}
Bring a friend, a grandchild or just yourself and order a special Burger Box shake and visit with other seniors and staff from the Center.You don?t have to be a senior to stop by. The Center is also looking for volunteers to teach art or other classes. If you have a skill or just want to help out, come by and talk with Shanti.
The Kennedale Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Lunch is served each day and regular games of Bingo, Skip-Bo, Dominoes along with movies, crafts, puzzles and wellness classes are scheduled or sometimes just happen.The best thing about the Center is that it provides a chance to get out of the house, enjoy the company of others, have some fun and use someone else’s electricity.
