Incident Reports
2/27 – Theft $100 to $750 – A high school student reported to a school resource officer that her gold ring had been stolen. The ring was on the student?s desk during a class project and was missing at the end of class. The ring was valued at $150.00.
2/26 – Burglary – Meadow Drive: At 10:50 a.m. a victim reported that an unknown person entered her open garage during the overnight hours and removed property. The property taken was electronics that the victim intended to sell. The suspect was caught on video, which was turned over to officers.
2/26 – Violation of Bond/ Protective Order – At 3:20 p.m. a victim filed a complaint on her ex-boyfriend for violating a protective order out of Dallas County. The suspect has been regularly contacting the victim and her children in violation of the order. The suspect has threatened the victim in the past to the point that victim fears he will harm her.
2/27 – Recovery of Stolen Vehicle (other agency) – 1100 block of N. Little School Road: At 8:57 a.m. an officer responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle. The vehicle was reported to be stolen out of Arlington. The keys were in the ignition and personal property was still inside. The vehicle was impounded for Arlington.
2/27 – Burglary – Shady Oaks Drive: At 8:53 a.m. a victim reported that person(s) unknown pried open his garage door and removed property. The victim has been out of town and doesn?t know what has been stolen. A complete inventory will be submitted at a later date.
2/27 – Theft $750 to $2,500 – 900 block of Shady Oaks Drive: At 8:53 a.m. a victim reported that a known suspect had borrowed tools from him and failed to return them. The suspect was supposed to be doing work for the victim but did not complete the job, and did not return the tools. This offense may be related to the burglary report from 02/27/2017.
2/28 – Assault by Threat – Tealpond Drive: At 6:27 p.m. a female victim reported that a known female suspect has been making threats to harm the victim. The threats are due to a relationship that the victim is in.
2/28 – Forgery – 100 block of E. Kennedale Parkway: At 12:19 p.m. a victim reported that an unknown suspect had cashed a check on the victim?s bank account at a local business. The victim did not know the name on the check and reported that he did not write the check.
3/1 – Public Intoxication – 300 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 12:00 a.m. an officer observed a vehicle stopped at a closed business. Upon stopping to investigate, the officer discovered that the lone occupant, a male, was intoxicated. The suspect was arrested and transported to jail without incident.
3/2 ? Theft $100 to $750 – E. Kennedale Parkway: At 9:00 a.m. a victim reported that unknown person(s) came onto her property and removed a lawn mower and weed eater. The items were not secured and were valued at $550.00
3/3 – Abandoned/ Found Property – 1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 8:15 a.m. an officer found a small bag of methamphetamine on the floor of a local business. The drug had apparently been dropped by a customer. The drug was tested and placed in evidence for safe keeping.
3/3 – Abandoned/ Found Property – 400 block of Municipal Drive: At 11:57 a.m. a complainant brought a key and key ring to the police station. The items were found in the street. They were placed in evidence for safe keeping.
3/3 – Application Mental Detention and Observation – N. Sulphur Street: At 4:45 p.m. officers responded to a report of a disturbance. A local group home resident, known to officers from previous incidents, was having a mental episode and needed assistance. The male was transported to JPS Hospital for mental evaluation and treatment.
3/4 – Criminal Trespass – 100 block of E. Mistletoe Drive: At 2:43 p.m. officers observed several juveniles climbing on a school building. The juveniles fled when officers arrived but one of the juveniles was detained and taken home to his parents. The other juveniles were located and all parents notified of the incident. The juveniles reported that they weren?t trying to break into the school but were just trying to climb onto the roof.
