Wildcat Soccer loses rematch in title game at Kings Classic Tournament

This past weekend the Kennedale went 3-1 and came away with second place trophy at the Paris Classic. Kennedale has finished in the top two at the tournament two years in a row. {{more: continue …}}

Overall, it was a good showing in the R.K. Hall & Kings Classic in Paris, Texas for the Kennedale Wildcat soccer team. Kennedale is currently 3-2 as they head into the Kennedale Wildcat Invitational this weekend at Wildcat Stadium at Kennedale High School.

Paris tournament ?

Kennedale started the tournament with a 4-1 win over North Lamar Thursday with wind chills in the teens. Then on Friday took a 2-1 win over tournament host Paris Friday evening. On Saturday, the Cats blanked Kemp 2-0 to set up a rematch against Paris in the championship game. This time Paris won, scoring the sole point of the game at 13 minutes in the game and then holding on to take a 1-0 win.

Kennedale Invitational ?

Kennedale will start play on today, Thursday, January 18, with a game at 9:45 am and then will play again at 4:45 against Burkburnett. On Friday, the Wildcats will play Ferris High School at 4:45 pm. Saturday,? the Cats will match up against Life Waxahacie at 9:45 am. The 3rd place and championship rounds will follow at 3:45 and 4:30 pm.?Tournament Schedule?
