The Wildcats boys? team will face the tougher opponent tonight as Kennedale, #3 seed out of District 7-4A Kennedale plays Alvarado, the #2 seed out of 8-4A.?Kennedale (16-7-6) finished in third place in close contest for the top three spots in the district. Alvarado (16-6-0) finished in 2nd place behind district leader Midlothian Heritage (19-5-1).?

The Lady Kats (14-6-3) will play Venus (8-9-5), the 4th seed out of District 8-4A. Kennedale won their 5th straight district title this season at (9-1).?The Kats only loss in district play was to Diamond Hill-Jarvis (13-7-2, 8-2) by score of 1-0 in first round action. Kennedale returned the favor in the final district game of the season winning 1-0.?
A veteran of the state playoffs, the Lady Kats went 5 deep last year before being bumped out in the regional finals after losing out on penalty kicks.
