Kennedale, like other teams in this area, fall along the dividing line between east and west regions. Kennedale has played at times in each of these regions over the year.?Most of the KHS teams (including academic teams/fine arts) will complete for the next two years in Region II District 10/4A. The make-up of that district varies somewhat depending on the activity.?Softball and baseball play in District 10/4A but the lineup for this district is quite different from the lineup of schools that basketball, volleyball, golf, track & field, cross-county share.?Academic/fine arts will compete in the same district but will see the addition of three additional charter schools.?Scratching your head??It is simpler to just consider each sport separately. There are some familiar opponents but for most sports it is a new line-up of schools. For most of the high school?s activities this will be known as ?the year of the charter schools.? For Wildcat football, it is another two years married to Fort Worth.?Say goodbye to cross-town trips. For many the next two years will be cross the metroplex trip. t
