Kennedale went 17-7-1 this year, swept district play by going 12-0 and went 3 deep into the playoffs, getting knocked off by the Godley who made the final four of the State 4A baseball playoffs this year. It was the Wildcats best winning percentages since the 2011 state title team.?

As a result, the Wildcats earned 4 superlative all-district awards, 4 first team spots, 2 second team recognitions and 3 honorable mentions. Benbrook had a total of 8 selections followed by Castleberry 6, Mineral Wells 4, Lake Worth 3, Springtown 3 and Diamond Hill 2.
