Two Lady Kat volleyball player are ranked as top blockers in MaxPreps national rankings this week. Raeley Crosley (Jr) is #1 and Jasmine Ali (Sr) is #5. {{more:Read more…}}
Crosley in 2015 was the top blocker for MaxPreps. So far this year, she has 134 solo blocks and leads the nation with 234 total blocks, averaging 3.5 per set.
Fellow teammate, Jasmine Ali, is 5th in the nation on the Max Preps list with 75 solo blocks and 137 total blocks, averaging 2.0 blocks per set.
There is no one within 90 blocks of Raeley?s total. The closes is 144 blocks (1.8 av)by Serena Patterson (Jr) from Red Oak, TX and Mckenna Hildebrandt (So) from Rains HS in Emory, TX with 142 (1.7 av). Both of these players have played more sets than Crosely and Ali. What also adds to the feat by both Crosely and Ali, is that most of Kennedale?s games have been played against larger 5A and 6A schools and top 4A teams. In other words these blocks have not been against inferior athletes.
Lady Kat Grace Guadagnolo (So) is currently ranked 150 in digs at 272 out of 500 players ranked nationally.

Lady Kat Update…
Kenndale is 12-15 after winning their last three matches and is currently ranked #9 in MaxPreps 4A. Tuesday, the Kats polished off 5A Arlington Seguin 3-0 winning 25-20, 25-11 and 28-26.
Kennedale will play another top ranked team when they play TGCA #10 Decatur tonight at 5 p.m. at Kennedale High School.
