Several James Arthur Intermediate staff members were recognized at the recent James Arthur faculty awards banquet. Awards given were for years of service, Team Arthur, Shine Like a Diamond, retirement honors and the para-professional and teacher of the year awards. {{more}}

  • Trisha Forton, a special education teacher who received the TEAM Arthur Award.
  • Sandy Yokeley and Jean Stevens, were honored by KISD for 30 years of dedicated service.

  • Pam Berry, who received our Paraprofessional of the Year Award.
  • Kathy Wilshire (14 years) and Pat Potter (13 years), are retiring this year and each received a clock.
  • Samantha Manzo (not pictured), attended the banquet and was presented the Teacher of the Year Award on behalf of her late husband and our beloved colleague, Chris Manzo.
