All and all, it was a good year for the Kats, who rebounded from a bruising pre-district season at 5-13-1 dominated by 5A and 6A teams to go 15-5-0 over the remainder of the season and finish in the final 16 teams in the state playoffs. It was a young team that started two freshmen and three sophomores and graduates only 3 seniors. This team has continued Kennedale?s strong softball tradition, especially as a team to respect in the playoffs.
