According to ride coordinator George “Tank” Sherman, it will include a number of motorcycle groups from around the Noth Texas area.

The ride will officially begin at Johnny O’s, 9905 Camp Bowie in Fort Worth at 11am on Saturday, September 10. It is free to ride but a donation of a teddy bear is wanted.

It will wind its way to Kennedale’s 9/11 Memorial in TownCenter Park at 405 Municpal Drive, Kennedale, TX 76060, just off of Kennedale Parkway (B287) where a memorial will be held at 1 p.m.

The 9/11 Memorial in Kennedale is designed with a large beam of one of the World Trade Centers. The artist created it to cast a shadow over a granite wall displaying a time line of that fateful day in 2001.

?This creates a sundial effect so you have the shadow that is following the timeline of the day? said Kennedale City Manager Bob Hart.

Whether you ride or not, everyone is welcome to join them at 1 pm at the Kennedale 9/11 Memorial on Municipal Drive.
