Widening of Bowman Springs Road is expected to begin next month on the stretch of road from the Kennedale city limits to I-20.The Arlington City Council approved a $2 million contract August 6 with McMahon Contracting. Bowman Springs will be widen to 5 lanes. The project will include sidewalks, streets lights and traffic signs and is expected be completed by May, 2014. {{more}}?Kennedale has recently completed work on a major reconstruction of Bowman Springs that redirected the road to cross Kennedale Parkway and connect to Dick Price Road. The Bowman Springs Road/Dick Price Road will eventually be a secondary connector stretching from Arlington, Kennedale, Everman to I-35.
