FORT WORTH – The Burkburnett Bulldogs avenged last season’s area playoff loss Thursday, knocking off Kennedale, 75-65, in the opening round of the Whataburger Tournament. {{more: continue …}}?
The Bulldogs trailed 31-25 at the half before taking a 33-9 advantage in the third quarter put them on top for good. They knocked down 15 3-pointers in the victory, including five by KenDarious Horton (19 points) and four each by Jacob Williams (game-high 20 points) and Jalen White (16 points).
