The weather maybe a little cool on Saturday with a high in the 60?s and winds blowing but the sky will be clear and the sun shining. Perfect weather for the dogs to get out of the house for a little exercise. {{more: continue …}}

It is time for Kennedale?s annual Park in the Park this Saturday, April 14 at Sonora Park (263 S New Hope Road). The event is from 10 am to 2 pm.

One stop shopping, entertainment ?

And, it is not just for the pets. There will be bounce houses for the kids who are bouncing off the wall at home, food trucks and vendors. Of course, the playground is open and there is always fishing in the lake. Adults can take their pets for a walk or jog on the paved walking trails in the park while soaking in the sun.

The Texas Coalition for Animal Protect (TCAP) will be offering low-cost vaccinations until 12 noon. And pet adoptions are available.?
A raffle will be held with the drawing at 1 pm. Proceeds will benefit the Humane Society of North Texas.

Make it fun for all and follow these rule of play:
- Dogs must be on a lease no longer that 6 ft.?
- Female pets in heat are not allow to attend.?
- Pets must be current on all shots or plan on updating immunizations on Saturday.?
- Pets must be people and pet friendly.?
- Aggressive and easily excitable pets will be asked to leave, so use your best judgement on your pet and leave them at home for their sake and your peace of mind.
- Please clean up after your animal.?
