County Commissioner to address Chamber Wednesday at Noon

Chamber of Commerce will have its monthly networking luncheon Wednesday, March 18 with invited guest speaker Andy Nguyen, Tarrant County Commissioner.

 
The luncheon will be held at Life Fellowship Church at 611 N. Little Road in Kennedale from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The public is invited to attend. For reservations please contact the Chamber Office at 817.985.2109 or RSVP online. {{more}}
 
The Commissioner will be presenting the annual ?State of the County Address.? County government has tremendous impact on businesses and individuals in Tarrant

County from law enforcement, to roads and highways to taxes and collections as well as public health and education.

 
Nguyen represents Precinct 2, Southeast Tarrant County which includes Kennedale, parts of Arlington, Grand Prairie and more.
 
In 2010, Commissioner Nguyen was elected to the Tarrant County Commissioners Court, becoming the first Asian American elected to serve as a Commissioner of Tarrant County. He currently serves as an Executive Board Member of the Tarrant County Housing Finance Corporation and is a member of both the Public Employees Benefits Cooperative Board and the Tarrant County Industrial Board.
