Kennedale ISD residents will have a chance to see, meet and talk with Joe

Taylor and Jeff Kreiger next week at the Kennedale Performing Arts Center (PAC) in the foyer beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28. {{more}}

 
The PAC is located on the campus of Kennedale High School at 901 Wildcat Way, Kennedale, TX 76060.
 
Board-elect members Rhonda Barnes (Place 2) and Leslie Carruthers (Place 1) will also be in attendance but they drew no opponents in the upcoming election.
 
Place 3 is the only contested race this year with Joe Taylor running again along with newcomer Jeff Krieger.
 
Both are not without their strengths
 
Joe Taylor, a local business owner, represents continuity with 15 years on the board with the last two years as Board President (the board president is elected by the board members each year after school elections are held). Taylor had two children graduate from KISD and is an active member of the community.
 
Jeff Krieger, a school administrator in Arlington ISD represents a new point of view as a parent with two children currently enrolled in KISD, an educator with 16 years of experience and a recent school administrator in the Kennedale school district.
 
Candidates will introduce themselves and say a few words
 
At the ?Meet and Greet? on Tuesday evening (6:30 – 7:30 pm) both candidates will introduce themselves and will have an opportunity say a few words.
 
Numerous voting opportunites
 
Elections and the choices they provide are an important part of the local control process. There will be numerous opportunities with Early Voting beginning next Monday, April 27 and running until Tuesday, May 5. The last chance is Election Day on Saturday, May 9. Voting hours during scheduled days are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. except Sunday, May 3 when the hours are from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Voting for the city and the school district elections are at the Kennedale Library/Community Center, 316 W Third St, Kennedale, TX 76060.
