Each summer the Stephen F. Austin State University Schoolof Music
hosts several camps for students who want to improve their skills in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Camps include band, choir, strings and piano. SFA is located in Nacogdoches, Texas. {{more}}
This summer Tom Dorosky, 8th grade band student at Kennedale Junior High School, attended and received the Bassoon Reed Making Award from Brandi Killough, director of the 8th Grade Lumberjack Band, at the 2014 Stephen F. Austin State University Band Camp in Nacogdoches. Awards were presented at the conclusion of the June camp.
