Dorothy Alice Wommack Padermos 1919 – 2015

Dorothy Alice Wommack Padermos, age 95, died Sunday, April 5, 2015, at 1 p.m. She was the fifth of seven children born to the late William Madison Wommack and Eva Inez Henderson Wommack. No service is scheduled. {{more}}

 

Dorothy was born June 29, 1919, in Dalton. She graduated from Naples High School in 1937, then went on to work for the Wilson Sporting Goods Company from 1940 until 1980, retiring after 40 years of service.

 

She married John Padermos on Dec. 7, 1974, at Omaha Methodist Church in Dallas. She and John resided in Kennedale most of their married life.

 

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, John Padermos; and all her siblings, Annie May Wommack Landrum, William Victor Wommack, Bennie Laverne Wommack, Eva J. Wommack, James Frank Wommack and Ray Vernette Wommack.

 

Survivors: Dorothy is survived by her eight stepchildren, Sharon Padermos Royer, Dana Padermos Jackson, Jonny Padermos, Stephen Padermos, Christine Padermos Costilow, Robin Padermos, Kim Padermos Walker and Terrie Padermos Lassetter; and many stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren.
