At 2:50 in the early morning hours of Wednesday, November 6, in the parking lot of Walmart, a Kennedale police officer observed a vehicle strike a shopping cart. Upon contacting the driver, the officer noticed that he appeared extremely intoxicated.The driver, a 40 year old male, was unable to successfully {{more}}complete a sobriety assessment and was placed under arrest for DWI. During a search of the arrestee’s person, he was also found to be in possession of two baggies of marijuana as well as numerous identity badges for employees of the Cowboys AT&T stadium.
A breath test resulted in a blood alcohol content result of over 0.20%. The badges were removed and held as possible evidence until the stadium can be contacted.
