Explore nine world-class museums, cultural exhibitions, family events and live performances for an unbeatable price ? that would be free ? on Saturday. {{more}}

?Day in the District? includes visits to the Amon Carter Museum of American Art, Fort Worth Botanic Garden, Fort Worth Community Arts Center, Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, Cattle Raisers Museum, Kimbell Art Museum, Log Cabin Village, Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, and National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame.

Take a deep breath, eat a good breakfast, wear comfy clothing and plunge into a cultural whirl from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The T bus service will provide complimentary transportation throughout the Cultural District during those hours, making a continuous loop to Gendy Street, in front of the Museum of Science and History; Harley Avenue and Conservatory Drive, north of the Botanic Garden; University Drive, Route 7 bus stop in front of Farrington Field; Van Cliburn Way and Darnell Street, across from the Kimbell; and Gendy Street and Lancaster Avenue, in front of the Community Arts Center.

Wristbands may be picked up at Farrington Field and the Log Cabin Village. Water will be available at most stops.

Free parking is available at Farrington Field and in the University of North Texas Health Science Center east parking garage, north of the Amon Carter Museum of American Art.

Those who prefer to tour the area by bike share may enter promo code 092714 at any B-station for a $4 B-Cycle day pass.
