Fall Festivities this Weekend in Kennedale

This Saturday, starting at 5 p.m. the Kennedale

Youth Advisory Council and the Kennedale Public Library will kick of their second annual Truck or Treat and Pumpkin Palooza in TownCenter Park. {{more:Read more …}}

 

Last year’s was a success but was marred by wet weather. This year is said to be bigger and better and will be under perfect fall weather, cool and clear.

 

It will be run in conjunction with the Senior Craft Fair which begins at 4:30 and continues until 8 p.m. The Trunk-or-Treat festivities begin at 5 and continue with the showing of the movie Hotel Transylvania at 7 p.m.

 

There’s something for all ages …

4:30 to 8:00 p.m. – Craft Fair hosted by the Senior Center

5:00 to 7:00 p.m. – Trunk-or-Treating in the Library parking lot (316 W 3rd St.)

• Pumpkin Palooza! in TownCenter Park featuring:
• Pumpkin Painting
• Pumpkin Patch Photo-Op
• Chalk Art

5:30 p.m. – Senior Citizen CenterCake Walk under the pavilion in TownCenter Park

6:00 – 8:00 p.m. – Food Trucks in the parking lot between City Hall and the Senior Center

6:30 p.m. – Raffle presented by theSenior Center: Purchase tickets for $1 for a chance at winning prizes donated by the Craft Fair vendors (420 Corry A. Edwards; behind City Hall)

7:00 to 9:00 p.m. – Hotel Transylvania in the Library’s Community Center (popcorn provided)
