On March 12, 2005, Finton was born in Arlington, a bouncing baby boy ready to make an impact on the world. And boy did he make an impact. He loved to play jokes and be friendly to just about anyone. He was ridiculously funny and at times could be a tad bit inappropriate. He kept us laughing.
As a young boy, Finton wanted to be an inventor. He was always taking things apart and putting them back together or creating new and different things from the parts. He planned to create a teleporter, so we could visit one another and see faraway places.
Finton had a great love of music and played the trumpet in the school band. He was very excited to be in the high school marching band this year. Along with his band music, he loved the 80?s music. He was a bit of a throwback in the music department.
This was the first year that Finton was to play football. He was very excited to start and talked about it nonstop, day and night. He was a bright and intelligent boy who was working his way through his academics to get to graduation like every other teenager.
?
He planned to join the Marines after graduation, go to college to become an engineer, and work at Bell Helicopter.
He spent many hours outside. His love of nature and animals was visible anywhere he happened to be, whether it was playing with family pets or helping out at a friend?s barn. The animals seemed to sense his gentle nature and would willingly come to him for affection. That nature was also expressed to his two sisters and little brother. He spent many hours being silly, blowing bubbles and dancing with his little brother and just as many hours playing video games with his cousins.
?
Finton spent as much time as he could with his family where he was always welcomed and adored.
Finton left this world way to early, but he did leave his mark on it. He was loved by many and will never be forgotten. It was a privilege to have him in our lives and we will always love him. We take comfort knowing that Finton is now with his dad and will be forever loved here on earth as well as in heaven.?
