Approximately 3:30 this afternoon a home located in the 600 block of Hillside Drive in Kennedale was reported as on fire. {{more}}
The Kennedale Fire Department responded within minutes. Neighbors said that they could hear fire alarms go off in the house and told the responders that they thought someone was inside.
The fire had engulfed the inside of the house preventing any rescue efforts. The fire was quickly brought under control and when it was extinguished a victim was discovered inside.
The cause of the fire and the cause of death is under investigation. Identity of the victim is being withheld pending further investigation.Read more at DFWCBS Local News
