Four Kennedale High School graduates of the Class of 2016 received the Texas Foreign Language Association T.E. Hamilton Scholarship Award. {{more:Read more … }}
 
All students were nominated by the KHS World Languages department which consists of M?nica ?Maestra? Stephens, Roger Alem?n, Amanda Gabler and Jeremy Greenwich. World language teachers are only allowed to nominate one student.
 
“It is important to know that this year we received quite a number of deserving nominees, but these students? enthusiasm for languages along with their academic excellence made all of them stand out among greatness,” in a letter notifying the school of the awards.
 
The TFLA Board and Scholarship Committee was thrilled to award Minh Son Nguyen, Samantha Randolph, No?t Avila and Claire Hamilton each a scholarship to further their studies as they continue their education in college.
 
We hope this award helps lighten the financial load a bit. Scholarships ranged from $750.00 to $1000.00.
