The Texas High School Coaches Association and the U.S. Marine Corps have selected four Kennedale High School Wildcat players for the 2014-2015 Football Academic ALL-STATE Team. {{more}}
The KHS players are:
- Zane Kottwitz, Kicker
- Cody Kovar, Offensive Lineman
- Jake Michener, Quarterback
- Aaron Williams, Outside Linebacker
To be considered, the players must first be nominated by their head coach and must be of good moral character, a high school senior and have and overall grade point of 92 or above.
In making the final selections the THSCA considers each students? GPA, class rank, SAT and/or ACT score.
Kottwitz and Michener made 2nd Team All-Academic and Kovar and Williams were Honorable Mention.
