Frederick Wiley Winters 1953 – 2017

Frederick Wiley Winters, 63, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017. Funeral Service 11 a.m. Saturday, April 1, at First Baptist Church located at 309 Kenney St., Kennedale, 76060.{{more: READ MORE …}}

 

Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.

 

Fred was a loving son, brother, father, uncle, and grandfather. He dedicated his time volunteering for his church, youth camps, Keep Kennedale Beautiful organization, and various food banks.

 

Fred worked the railroad for several years and worked most recently as a landscaper.

 

In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made to First Baptist Church of Kennedale Children’s department.

 

Fred’s family would like to thank Aunt Zola Folmar for consistently being by Fred’s side during his final days here. They would also like to thank the ICU staff at Methodist Mansfield Hospital for all of the wonderful care they showed Fred.

 

Survivors: He is survived by his parents, Ollie and Dorothy Winters; daughter, Casey Johnson and husband, Mark; son, Rush Winters; brothers, Kelly Winters and wife, Kimberly, and Larry Winters and wife, Susie; granddaughter, Melody Johnson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
