Girls JV take title at Granbury Cross Country meet

Last week the Lady Kat JV cross country team earned first place at the annual Granbury Race for the Loot. All Kennedale teams did well as they push to the district meet set this week.? {{more: continue …}}

In the 5,000 meter run and looking at just 4A schools, the Wildcat with 268 points finished 2nd behind Midlothian Heritage who had 242. Diamond Hill-Jarvis was 3rd followed by Lake Worth. The JV Boys had a similar placement finishing behind Heritage in Class 4A. (377 to 364).

The JV Lady Kats in the 3200 meter run finals finished in 1st place scoring 34 points, followed by Midlothian Heritage (53 pts), Peaster (74 pts), Waxahachie Life (78 pts) and Lake Worth (106 pts).
