Jackson has bounced back from a three-game slump and in two contests last week, put up 20.0 points and 5.0 rebounds per game, while shooting 73.7 percent (14-for-19) from the field and 92.3 percent (12-for-13) from the foul line, as Loyola split a pair of Valley contests.

 
The 6-foot-5 Jackson was perfect in an 18-point performance at Wichita State on January 11, going 7-for-7 from the field and 4-for-4 from the foul line as he recorded his third perfect night from the field this season. Jackson also tied a season high by corralling seven boards against the Shockers. He proceeded to pour in 22 points off the bench, his best output since December 20, to help Loyola erase an 11-point deficit en route to a 77-71 victory over Missouri State on January 15.
 
For the year, Jackson is posting 14.9 ppg and 3.9 rpg, while ranking fourth in the country in field goal percentage (.708).
 
For Kennedale Jackson averaged 20 points and eight rebounds a game. He was part of the team that went 70-4 over a two year period and made the final four once in Austin. He was a two-time first-team all-district and all-region selection and a two-time district Offensive Player of the Year, District Co-MVP, Region 1-3A MVP, All-state selection and a Texas Association of Basketball Coaches All-Star.
