Gosset?([email protected]), Aundre Jackson, former KHS basketball standout and most recently a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago, has signed to play ball overseas with an Iceland pro team. {{more: continue…}}

While at Kennedale, Aundre was an all-state player who assisted the Wildcats to final four state championship spot and a 38-1 record. At Loyola, he helped drive the Ramblers to a spot in the NCAA Division I final four championship and in the process he became the school?s leader in field goal percentage.

In Iceland, Jackson (6’5, 230) will play for Skallagrimur from the city of Borgarnes. Skallagrimur went 21-3 last year winning the Icelandic Division I regular season championship. They were finalist

in 2006, semifinalist in 2008 and 2015 and playoff champions in 2012 and 2016.

Their season this year will begin October 4 and run until March 14, 2019. Players in these league come from around Europe and America including Lithuania, Holland, Russia, Poland, Sweden, Germany, France Greece, Serbia, and Spain.
